Brake shoes are available in 20K, 23K, and 26K Gross Axle Weight Ratings (GAWR).
E-Coated shoes provide superior rust protection over traditional paint and powder coating methods. An electrical current is used to bond the paint to the shoe and provides superior corrosion resistance.
Global shoes are induction-hardened at both the anchor and roller ends of the shoes. This prevents distortion and wear often found in competitors' remanufactured shoes. New shoes with hardened ends can provide improved friction life, reduced noise and superior performance.
Global shoes feature through-welds between the table and web. This ensures a solid foundation for the brake shoes.
